Chess Team
Students in Grades 1-6 are invited to try out for the Curtis Chess Team, which practices together weekly and competes in tournaments throughout the year.
The Curtis Chess Team is open to advanced players by try out. At weekly meetings each student can anticipate receiving tailored advice to address their weaknesses and facilitate the growth of their skills to the fullest extent. Chess is offered in the Extension program as well for beginners and those who prefer non-competitive play.
