Curtis School sits on 27 acres of gentle hills and grassy playing fields on Mulholland Drive in the Santa Monica Mountains.

Admissions Events

Welcome! We are eager to share what makes Curtis School such an exceptional school and special place for our students and families. Prospective families will have a number of opportunities to visit campus and learn more.

Below are relevant dates for families applying for the 2026-2027 school year. Please note that individual campus tours will begin in September 2025, following submission of an online application.

Spring Open House - Our Open Houses are designed to provide families with information about our mission, programs, and community. Please join us for our Spring Open House on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on the Curtis Campus. Advance registration is required.

Fall 2025 Open House Evenings - If you are unable to join us for our Spring Open House, worry not! We will hold additional Open House evenings in the fall. A registration link will be available here in the summer.

Mornings with Meera - Spend a morning getting to know our Head of School, Dr. Ratnesar, as she shares her story and vision for Curtis School. This event is for applicant families only, and an invitation to register will be sent after application submission.

Individual Campus Tour & Parent Conversation - This is a required step in our process. After submitting an application, parents/guardians will be able to schedule a student-led tour and sit-down conversation with a member of our Admissions team. These visits will be held from September to January.

Applications for the 2026-2027 school year will be available online starting July 15, 2025. The application deadline for DK and Kindergarten is November 1, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. For grades 1-6, the application deadline is November 15, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.

Optional Community Events

Family Fun Day
Bring your children as you join us for a morning of fun on campus! Explore our classrooms, meet our Faculty, and participate in a range of kid-friendly activities with members of our school community. This event is open to applicant families only, and a registration link will be sent after application submission.

Lower Elementary
- After submitting an application for Developmental Kindergarten - 2nd Grade, please email the Admissions Office at admissions@curtisschool.org to schedule a campus tour and conversation with a member of the Admissions Team.
- Campus tours and parent conversations are conducted between September and January.
- All Development Kindergarten - 2nd Grade applicants will be scheduled for a Saturday assessment visit in January 2024.

- After submitting an application for 3rd - 6th Grade please email the Admissions Office at admissions@curtisschool.org to schedule a campus tour and conversation with a member of the Admissions Team.
- Campus tours and parent conversations are conducted between September and January.
- All 3rd - 6th Grade applicants will be invited to spend a morning at Curtis on a weekday in January.
