Effective July 1, 2024, the Curtis School offers an improved structure for our 403(b) retirement savings plan, designed to better support the financial futures of our full-time employees. Here are the key features:
- Immediate Participation: Employees can start contributing to their 403(b) plan right from the start of their employment, with no waiting period.
- Employer Matching Contributions: The Curtis School Foundation contributes to your retirement savings through a tiered matching system based on your service years:
- 0-5 Years of Service: Up to a 5% match of your base salary.
- 5-9 Years of Service: A match of up to 5% of your base salary, plus an additional 2%.
- 10+ Years of Service: A match of up to 5% of your base salary, plus an additional 5%.
- Vesting: Both your contributions and the employer’s matching funds are 100% vested immediately, granting you full ownership from the moment they are contributed.
This 403(b) plan is part of our commitment to your long-term well-being, offering a structured path to grow your retirement savings with the support of the Curtis School’s contributions.
