Eco Club
Eco Club is an opportunity for students to brainstorm ways to improve sustainability on campus and educate the Curtis community on best practices for being good environmental stewards.
In its first year, 2023-24, Eco Club started e-waste collection and a writing implement recycling program in classrooms, educated the community about the new waste system on campus, and hosted a trash pick-up contest on Earth Day to create awareness around litter on campus. Future plans include a clothing/textile drive to raise money for sustainability efforts on campus.
